Week August 25-31
I was all over the board this week – constantly changing my plans around. It was supposed to be a dropdown week, and I ended up dropping way down. I also skipped both my strength classes during the week. Opps.
Monday –
Goal: Run 7 miles
Actual: Ran 3 miles
Did my normal 3 miles at lunch. It was extremely hot and no breeze. Once I got home, I got lazy. I was going to wait for the sun to go down a bit, but I know better than that. If I don’t go right away, I generally don’t go run at all.
Tuesday –
Goal: Run 5 miles and Body Pump
Actual: Ran 7 miles.
At lunch I decided to try and go all the way around the way. Big mistake – the sidewalk doesn’t go ALL the way around the lake. Had to back-track, off-road, and walk through a construction site to get back to my office. Ended up being 3.63 miles. Later in the evening I went out for 3.37 miles to get to 7 miles total.
Wednesday –
Goal: Run 7 miles
Actual: Ran 4 miles
Lunch run – decided to be lazy in the evening.
Thursday –
Goal: Run 3 miles (hills)
Actual: Walked 3 miles
I was in Little Rock all day for work. After we finished out meetings we had a bit of time to kill so we went to the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History. Saw a bunch of cool stuff.
Friday –
Goal: Run 9 miles
Actual: Ran 3
Did my 3 miles at lunch and took the rest of the weekend off to spend at the lake!
Caught 5 catfish in one day! We deep fried them (along with pickles and birthday cake)
